What is collected and why

Buyer enquiries include business contact details, sourcing specifications, quantities and commercial requirements. Exporter questionnaires include business contact details, supply information, export arrangements and proposed partnership preferences. Nile & Coast uses this information to assess and respond to your enquiry and discuss possible introductions. Please provide only information you are authorised to share. Do not include bank details, identity documents, passwords or sensitive personal information.

When information leaves your device

Typing or reviewing a form does not submit it. After you confirm and press Send, the site sends your completed details securely to its server, which uses Resend to email them to enquires@nileandcoast.uk. The mailbox is hosted by Fasthosts. The enquiry’s contact email is used as the reply-to address. We do not automatically email a copy to an unverified address.

The website does not save a separate database copy of questionnaire answers. Submitted details will exist in the delivered mailbox and in the email provider’s delivery systems and logs. Copying, downloading or printing creates a separate copy under your control. Unsaved form entries may be lost if you close or refresh the page.

Use and lawful basis

Information is used to respond to a requested business enquiry and manage relevant commercial discussions. Where applicable, this may be necessary to take requested steps before a contract with you, or for the legitimate interests of handling a business-to-business enquiry. The send confirmation is permission to transmit this enquiry, not consent to unrelated marketing. No mailing-list subscription is created.

Service providers and safeguards

OpenAI Sites hosts the website, Resend processes outbound email, and Fasthosts hosts the receiving mailbox. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses, message identifiers and delivery records. Server-side checks limit repeated attempts; the short-lived application rate-limit counter uses a hash rather than retaining a raw IP address. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Nile & Coast has not added its own advertising analytics or marketing cookies.

Providers may process information internationally under their applicable terms and safeguards. See Resend’s privacy information, Fasthosts’ privacy notice and OpenAI’s privacy policy. Final controller-specific transfer and processor arrangements must be reviewed before public launch.

Retention and sharing

The site itself does not automatically delete emails from the receiving mailbox. Relevant enquiries and correspondence should be kept only as long as needed for the discussion, agreed services and applicable record-keeping obligations. A final retention schedule remains to be approved. Contact Hash Lutaaya to request deletion of an enquiry that is no longer needed. Information is not automatically forwarded to exporters or buyers by this form; any later commercial sharing must be appropriate to your enquiry and explained to you.

External market-price display

When the price panel comes into view, it connects to IFC Markets and its quote-delivery services. Those providers receive technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, under their own privacy terms. The display is isolated in a sandboxed frame: it cannot read the website’s enquiry forms, cookies or browser storage. No questionnaire answers are sent to the price provider. Following a provider link opens that provider’s website, where its own cookie and privacy practices apply.

Your rights and contact

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
